Our nursery rooms offer a calming ambience and homely environment designed to nurture healthy brain development and early attachment.

The rooms feature an abundance of sensory stimulus and soft furnishings for our babies to grow and play. Our spaces are structured to prioritise safety and supervision, whilst enabling the children to freely explore and build trusting relationships.

We acknowledge that each baby is unique in their development and routine. The room features separate sleep rooms, rest areas and playspaces which allows for flexibility and individual catering. We invite our families to participate in their nursery curriculum and to connect with their child throughout the day. We offer comfortable feeding chairs for both mums and dads, as well as facilities for meal and bottle preparation.

Our centre has exceptional water views overlooking the Springbank Rise pond, providing children with the benefits of relaxation and tranquility.

Our fees are inclusive of morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, late snack, nappies, bedding and sunscreen.

Our toddler curriculum is designed to nurture children’s growing imaginations and newfound independence. Families are an important part of our community and program, and their input is crucial to children’s developmental plans.

Our classroom layout offers both independent and communal play, where children engage in play-based learning guided by individual interests. Our communal spaces assist toddlers in learning important social skills such as turn-taking, teamwork, problem solving and language development. Interactive spaces include our food marketplace, construction zone, puzzle area, reading nook and imagination corner.

Our children enjoy the following programs:

  • Imagination Library – promotes literacy and language development
  • STEM Learning – science, technology, engineering & mathematics
  • MindUp – mindfulness and neuroscience encouraging pro-social skills
  • Munch & Move Initiative – active play and healthy eating

Outdoor Environment

Our centre has exceptional water views overlooking the Springbank Rise pond, providing children with the benefits of relaxation and tranquility.

We are privileged to be surrounded by mature trees, namely three huge eucalyptus trees which attract abundant birdlife. We have a resident echidna, and the children have water views from both sides of their outdoor yard where they can see black swans, cormorants and turtles.

Our outdoor environment offers a diverse range of experiences involving experiential learning, physical activity, healthy risk-taking, imaginative play, sustainability and more!

All spaces include an abundance of natural and built features including forts, cubby houses, water features, rocks, greenery, logs, garden beds and sandpits. There is a mixture of shade sails, trees and pergolas allowing for outdoor learning and plenty of sun protection.

Centre Managers

Mardi Edwards

My name is Mardi Edwards and I have been working in early childhood education for twenty years, with extensive experience in centre management. I hold a Diploma of Children's Services and a Diploma of Leadership and Management.

I pride myself on being community-minded. My family and I are Gungahlin locals. I am thrilled to build our Casey community and walk alongside families as their children grow and develop in our service.

Our parents are our biggest supporters

Don’t just take our word for it. We have thrived because of our strong local reputations, thanks to the support and recommendations of our families.

Wonderful new service with an experienced centre manager and warm staff. I am looking forward to watching my children thrive.

Christina
