We’re looking for a dedicated professional to lead our infants room at 360 Rivett and contribute to our centre’s high standards of care and education.

You’ll bring strong organisational skills, a proactive approach to learning and development, and a deep commitment to creating quality outcomes for our youngest learners. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator who’s ready to step into a leadership role.

Key Responsibilities:

Excellence in Education & Care

  • Support the delivery of a high-quality educational program aligned with the service’s philosophy, regulations, and standards.
  • Contribute to the planning cycle by offering observations and reflections to inform group and individual learning experiences.
  • Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and responsive environment that meets the developmental needs and interests of all children.
  • Engage in daily reflection and discussions with colleagues to enhance program quality and educational practices.
  • Support children’s emotional, physical, and social wellbeing through consistent and nurturing care during daily routines and transitions.

Workplace Health & Safety

  • Maintain educator-to-child ratios and adhere to all qualification and supervision requirements.
  • Follow systems and checklists to ensure the environment remains clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • Ensure the service’s duty of care is upheld at all times in interactions with children and families.
  • Administer first aid and medication according to service policy, maintaining accurate documentation as required.
  • Follow all WHS procedures to promote a safe environment for children, families, and staff.
  • Understand and follow the service’s child protection policies and procedures, including mandatory reporting obligations.
  • Participate in emergency procedures and support the implementation of drills and safety practices.

Partnerships and Communication

  • Build respectful, trusting relationships with families and support their role as the child’s first teacher.
  • Communicate professionally and openly with families about their child’s wellbeing and experiences.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrating respect, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Participate in centre events, celebrations, and quality improvement initiatives as part of the wider service community.

Learning & Development

  • Participate in ongoing learning and professional development, including use of the 360 Early Education Learning Platform (Ed App).
  • Engage in goal setting, coaching, and feedback discussions with leadership to grow in your professional practice.
  • Reflect on your own practice and contribute ideas to improve outcomes for children and support team development.
